Lynda Katz Wilner and Marjorie Feinstein-Whittaker formed ESL RULES in 2006. Through this joint business venture they provide workshops and produce and distribute their unique training materials for accent modification and communication training.

They have written RULES: Rules for Using Linguistic Elements of Speech, Medically Speaking RULES, Medically Speaking Idioms, and RULES BY THE SOUND which address critical and frequently confused English grammatical, semantic, and syntactic rules of speech and pronunciation for nonnative English speakers in the financial/business, scientific/medical, information technology, hospitality, and religious/spiritual settings. They also developed and published Boston RULES, to help individuals modify their regional dialect.

Lynda and Marjorie are respected leaders in their field and present often at international professional conferences including ASHA and TESOL. Their published materials are used by medical centers, colleges and universities, and language schools around the country and internationally.
